Strength Training
is the “Fountain of Youth”
For more than 500 years people are searching for a magic youth
potion to turn back time, so they look and feel younger again.
People will pay anything for a product that promises to do just
that. Many health products are sold as youth-enhancing formulas.
Sadly, these products are very expensive and leave you very
disappointed with little or no results.
However, there is a
PROVEN remedy that REALLY can reverse
the aging process:
Strength Training. Yes, regularly lifting weights is the
answer to renewed vitality!
Strength Training
has more of an impact on your overall health and well being
than any other activity. Aerobic exercise is also important, because
it strengthens the cardiovascular system and helps to burn calories.
But, all things considered, nothing compares to the
multiple benefits that are derived from a dedicated
Strength Training
program like my
SuperSlow®.
program.
You may say: “I am only 24 years old.
Why do I need to worry about the Fountain of Youth?” Well, I truly
believe the younger you start, the better you prevent diseases and
the better you are able to maintain optimal health when you age.
Strength Training
is for anyone, young or old, male or female, beginner or
advanced, and rest assured you will only create better health and
look younger and sexier.
Research has shown that exercise
programs which include both aerobic exercise and
Strength Training are most
effective in improving body composition. Dieting alone results in
muscle loss and metabolic rate reduction, causing a decrease in lean
body mass resulting in little or no change in body composition.
Flexibility and agility training will improve range of motion and a
person’s ability to change direction with speed and precision, but
will not necessarily improve body composition. Pilates will aid in
developing muscular balance and flexibility, but it alone is not
effective in creating large improvements in body composition. A high
protein diet may result in weight reduction in the short term due to
water loss, but in the long term can lead to heart disease, stroke,
and osteoporosis, if a person is consuming more protein than needed.
