My name is
Cory Everson.
I am a 6 x
World Fitness Champion and because of that I know what
it takes to reach ones goals.
And I also
know that I have met only a handful of trainers who have
the heart and expertise to help their clients reach
their personal goals.
I have
had the pleasure of knowing Michael Ball for over 10 years. He is
one of those 'special people' who honestly wants you to achieve
success from the bottom of his heart. |
|
In
these 10 years he has always impressed me with his honest desire to
help others.
I have
always been so respectful of his ability to motivate and coach
people to make each workout a wonderful experience. Your dreams are
his dreams and that is a rare and wonderful quality.
Michael is a smart and creative trainer man who will not let you
give up until you reach your personal dream body. He has the ability
to drive you to try harder than you thought possible and enjoy every
minute of it. If you have the pleasure to work with him enjoy every
minute and you will feel and see success each and every workout.
Consider yourself lucky.

Physical and emotional health
work synergistically. Michael Ball is great at
helping you get in shape not only physically but
emotionally. I like to refer to it as "boot-camp
for the soul". He has taught me to
approach life with a new optimism, confidence,
and self-belief. His "live in the moment"
philosophy has helped me accomplish my
goals faster and more effectively. I am forever
grateful to Michael Ball for transforming my
life.

My name is Alex Abeger. I started
working with Michael after I had a bad bought with
mononucleosis. During the mono I had lost close to 20
lbs. I am a 19 year old athlete, water polo and rugby.
Healthy I am a solid 170 lbs at 5'10". After the mono, I
weighed as little as 153 lbs. I not only looked weak,
but felt weak.
Michael explained to me his Super
Slow program of muscle gain. It sounded like a program I
should enlist in. There was another problem; I only had
a few weeks before I left for college on the East Coast
at Tufts University. Michael said no problem. |

Michael is not only a great personal
trainer, but a great person.
Realizing that I am a poor college
student, Michael and I worked out a good deal for his
services.
I started his super slow and was
amazing at the immediate improvement that I made. Within
the first couple visits, I worked out with Michael 3
days a week for about 30 minutes, the charts showed a
great deal of me getting stronger. This was also my
first time using machines, normally I lift free weights
and it was a great transition.
Michael explains everything very
well.
I am now back to my playing weight
and shape. My body no longer looks sickly but I look fit
again. Maybe even more fit than I was before starting
training with Michael. I highly recommend Michael as a
Personal Trainer for anyone. He can tailor his regiment
to anyone or whatever you want. He is very knowledgeable
and I have complete trust in his program.
Cheers. |

Okay, I admit it. I'm a slug. No
motivation to exercise and that's something I've been
able to live with... until now. The past year has made
me realize that the older I get, the harder I have to
work at trying to get motivated. There has never been
anyone, ever, who has motivated me the way Michael has.
I took a chance. I took a chance by taking advantage
of his introductory workout and I was hooked. Michael is
easy to get along with, obviously knows what he's doing
and I feel completely safe with him. |
|
|
This is the very first time that I
actually WANT to work out.
I would (and will) recommend Michael to anyone and
everyone.
Lucky me.
That doesn't say much about me, but it says
everything about Michael. |

Nobody likes working out............but
when you see the results you get with Michael's
persistent encouragement, you can't help but be
motivated! And he is a wealth of knowledge about
health matters and alternative treatments - the mark of
a man who loves his work and studies his craft.
You won't be wasting your time with Michael as your
personal trainer. |

I have a difficult
time motivating myself to work out on my own. I stopped
working out regularly about 7 years ago and have been
slowly gaining weight (all in the wrong places) until
reaching my heaviest weight of 230 lbs. In June 2007, I
decided to begin working out and change my diet.
I interviewed quite a
few trainers before choosing Michael. The first thing
that drew me to him was his reasonable price. I also
liked the sound of the super slow method he uses in his
training. I read up on this style and thought it would
be the safest method for me as I have had a history of
neck and back problems, especially when working out. |
|
When I started working out with Michael, I
found his manner very encouraging and positive, which helps keep
me coming back. He is always quick to point out the improvements
I have made with each workout. I look forward to my workouts
with Michael every time.
I have had trainers in the past, who all used
the same method: 3 sets of 10 to 12 reps of the heaviest weight
I can manage. I seemed to have many neck problems in the past,
but not with the super slow method. Michael is always watching
me for proper form as I lift to be sure I am not causing
inappropriate stress on my neck.
Through working out with Michael 2 times per
week, and through being very careful about what I am eating, I
lost 45 pounds in about 4 months. I have been able to keep the
weight off so far, and have been between 185 and 190 pounds for
the past 5 months. I am also able to see excellent results in
muscle development, and am very pleased.

As general manager of BODY USA®
I search to have the best personal trainers at our
facility. In this age of fast food, high carb diets
as well as baby boomers coming into retirement
age they must have knowledge in all areas
of personal training as well as rehabilitation for
all ages. Michael is one of those trainers. He is a
superb trainer. He is very knowledgeable in his
craft. His personality is wonderful to be around.
Over the years I have seen his
clients melt away fat weight and gain lean muscle
weight to live a healthier happy life style. I am
very proud of him as a person, a personal trainer
and to call him a good friend. I am very honored to
have him here at BODY USA®.

I came to know Michael almost 2 years
ago when I chose him as my personal fitness trainer. I
came to him ahead of my need to get in shape for an
upcoming record album release. To get in shape for the
relentless process of performing, pictures, videos and
just to be in better health.
I lost 70 lbs over the course of my training
with Michael! I got the body I wanted for my career, and the body I
needed for a healthier me. What’s so important to understand is that
this was a process; it became a lifestyle, not a diet. It is also
very important to understand that this was done within the
parameters of living a real day to day lifestyle while working and
living. Translate that into eating well, not starving. Living well,
not being controlled by some crazy diet or radical change that’s not
possible. It is possible. It’s doable! |

My
brother Ilya, a NABBA World Finalist, and I know how
important it is to have a great personal trainer. It
makes all the difference in winning or loosing a
championship. We have the privilege to know Michael. As
a matter of fact I worked out together with Michael
for about 6 months when I was visiting Los Angeles a few
years ago.
I recommend Michael to everyone who wants to
build a great body. |

I found
Michael on the internet, and decided to give him a try
after several years of minimal exercise. As a type-1
diabetic, I have dietary and physical concerns that a
regular person doesn't have.
Michael is a
pleasure to work with. He's energetic, informed, pushes
me to do my best, and makes each workout different
enough to keep me motivated. He also made an effort to
learn more about diabetes, and that extra effort showed
me his true concern for each client.
I would
definitely recommend Michael to anyone who's considering
a personal trainer. |

The
results of Michael Ball’s core exercises have given me a
new sense of energy! The results of the training have
been very helpful to my golf swing and the lower back
region. |

Although I was not new to working
out with a personal trainer, I was looking for an
expert who would not only help me achieve my fitness
goals, but would carefully document my progress
during each session, and I certainly found that in
Michael Ball. Although there are many trainers in
Los Angeles, many don't seem very well-organized,
and so in lieu of written notations must make
constant guesses on new exercises or weight
increments to push their clients, which only wastes
everyone's time and impedes their progress.
Michael's notes on each client are so extensive that
he can give specifics on various performance metrics
for each session, which is great for those who want
to compete against themselves to achieve gains in
strength and overall fitness.
|
|
Michael is also an expert in the Super
Slow method, which is superb for those who want a full-body
workout in the least amount of time, helps avoid injuries
and builds the 'slow fiber' muscles often ignored by
traditional strength training regimens.
Finally, don't mistake Michael's
personable and laid-back personality for a pushover: he
will drive you as hard as a Marine drill sergeant but will
smile throughout the process, making you want to make him as
proud as you are as you see a new body emerge and fitness
improve. If you're looking for a supportive way to achieve
your fitness goals and stick with it for the long term, I'd
highly recommend training with Michael Ball.

In a part of
the world in which "uniqueness" is perhaps a bit
exaggerated, Michael Ball brings an extra ray
of light. How he does this may be unexplainable.
Michael's presence may not be exactly more
spiritual, though it very well could be. It could be
something of the upbeat, Black Belt Belgian, and his
luck of the genetic draw, you suspect, in which his
talent is not an overcompensation of his ability to
influence people, rather innately European
qualities.
It could be
that Michael's ability to convert uncertainty into
strength, lies in his natural, giving smile; in his
mettle both gracious and humble. Michael's support
system seems blissfully quiet, confident in his joy
for life, and unstudied in his manner. Anybody who
associates themselves with Michael Ball will be
rewarded many times over.
